Laszlo Sebo is a visual effects technical director located in Budapest , Hungary . Whilst working at Post Edison , a leading Hungarian VFX company, he has worked on commercials for a wide variety of clients, including Procter & Gamble, Suzuki, Vivendi Telecom and OMV .
During his time at Post Edison, he also produced personal projects, such as Meshtools, the scripted modeling toolset for 3dsmax. Highly regarded amongst users, Meshtools went on to be used world-wide by companies like Blizzard Entertainment, Viewpoint Datalabs and Electronic Arts.
More recently, Laszlo has worked on a number feature film projects including The Day After Tomorrow , The Core , X-Men2 , Scooby Doo 2 and Paycheck . Most of this work was carried out at the multi-award winning Canadian visual effects company Frantic Films . Whilst at Frantic, Laszlo was a lead technical director, with his responsibilities including character rigging, particle effects, research and custom plugin development.
Laszlo specializes in problems solving, using a number of approaches, including Maxscript and also custom 3dsmax plugin development via the 3dsmax SDK.
